*The CSE flagship-habitat-thingy opens up a commlink with the new arrival*

"Unidentified ship, you are in a system already claimed for colonisation. Give a valid reason for your presence or leave."

"Why are you yelling?" Kata calls over the radio. "That would be nice."
She then turns to Lilly.
"We're landing, though not as dramatically as many people believed."

"Right. Sorry. Okay, intercepting..."
*Aegis pilots the ship close to the other ship.*

[Something Evil]

"I can hold you if you're uncomfortable." She grins.

*Amy grabs Ivy, pulling her in as to topple her and licking her ear, then lets go, smirks and gets up seeing that the bone-rattling gut-wrenching shaking fails to show up.*

"We're landing, though not as dramatically as many people believed."

"Yeah, well I don't think I've had more than three trips to a planet's surface that weren't combat drops. In a small, cramp lander. Without any fancy shock absorbers. And AA guns on the surface shooting at us. And what's that about another ship?"

*Lilly looks at the new arrival*

*walks into bridge*
"oh... hello"

Ivy laughs and gives Amy's ear a lick in retaliation. The warmth is stronger, but still quite pleasant.
"Teehee.." She gives Amy a hug that is dangerously on the verge of becoming a grope.


Kata smiles.
"So you can handle it. Good. As for the other ship, no idea."

[Tellemurius]

*looks at the two*

*the comm. system cracks to life*

"You are in violation of collective space, call off your interceptors or will will destroy them. This system is ours."

[Twi]

Arek's look is echoed by Thera, while Jack seems amused as ever and Kata might be feeling something herself.
But she turns on the comm to the new ship.
"If it belongs to you, prove it."
She then switches to Aegis's channel and says, "Back off for now."

[Something Evil]

*Amy wriggles out of the grope, landing a light jab in Ivy's gut, then straps her pick on her back with a practiced swing, and notices the throwing knife buried in the palm of her left hand. She picks it out, stashes it and looks to Lilly and Arek.*
A: "Hi! I'm Amity, just Amity. Dumped in space to die off 'cause it was cheaper. You're?"

[Tellemurius]

*bows with metal arm stretched out*
"i am Arek, cracking healer at your service"

[Phantom]

The GDI Ship radioes the Ark.
"Permission to engage with ion cannon."

((Use GDI as a buffer force. Gotta go...))

[Twi]

Ivy is unphased, but she goes to helping operate various consoles, which gets Thera to do so as well.

Kata radios the GDI back.
"Negative. Try to stall them."

[Vorthon]

*the comm. system cracks to life*

"You are in violation of collective space, call off your interceptors or will will destroy them. This system is ours."

"The interceptors are not ours. We merely have modified orbital habitats. The interceptors belong to another civilization we have been traveling with."

[Taricus]

"You have theatened the force of the collective, prepare for destruction."
