*A huge, glowing portal opens, and an army marches out. Following the vast columns of soldiers of various humanoid races, there are ten gigantic beings. Half are humanoid in form, and the other half vary wildly in appearance. One of the gigantic humanoids, looking somewhat like an absurdly overgrown treant, kneels and allows a human to clamber down its left arm. Once the human is safely on the ground, the great tree-being stands up straight again.*
*The human male jogs towards the group. A tiny creature can be seen sitting on his shoulder. It resembles a chibified anthropomorphic housecat.*
"Hello!" he says, when he reaches the group, "I hope we're no to late!"
"Yeah!" says the tiny being sitting on his shoulder, "Wha' he said!"
*the human male blinks*
"Maybe I should explain myself," he says, "You see, a several years ago, our reality was ravaged by these beings which called themselves 'void dragons'. We've been on their trail ever since. Unfortunately, we've always been one reality behind them. Their attack did have one benefit, though. It united us. All the races in our reality, I mean. Even the Dao." *He gestures towards the gigantic beings.*
*he blinks again*
"I should probably also tell you what a Dao is. Well, let's put it this way. Dao are physical gods, basically. Nature gods to be precise."
"Is been too long though," says the tiny creature, "The Mal are gettin' restless an' bored."*it points to a group of large humanoids which resemble smaller versions of ogres with skin striped with tan and dark tan, and red pupilless eyes. They are wearing clothing made from crudely stitched animal hides, and are wielding primitive weapons.* "An' when Mal get bored, they start breakin' stuff."
*Another radio message from the moon. It is full of static, although not bad enough to obscure the message. ((Too lazy too type out the static sound effects.))*
"This Armok System CSE Outpost 001-A-21, Subcolony 042-D9-8. Yep, old tensions from the civil war have flared up again. The imperialists were never very subtle..."
