Jack picks up the book and starts reading!
*A clump of dust comes away into his hand, having barely see-able images on it. Apparently this book is made of dust. The image of the grasped chunk seems to portray a darkened figure leaping at something... Hexagonal? It's hard to tell with the page mangled like this.*

Jack mutters something, and his eyes glow brighter, seeming to repair and clean the book where they shine on the paper.
"A little trick I picked up," he notes. "But it's directly linked to information. If there is no information purposely recorded in the thing I'm looking at, it won't work. Fortunately, it works on pictures as well as words."

*The dust fuses together to form what appears to be very weak paper. The image comes together to form the depiction of a shadow looking creature leaping for a hexagon. It is being impaled by a drill looking thing. A depiction of a young catchild is on the other side of the page, with two tanks on it's back, wielding an arm drill, also leaping for the hexagon.*

*Next page. There is another picture of what appears to be me, spanning the entire right page. I stand in front of a blackish thing, and in front of me, all over the right page is much smaller shadow things, some raising their arms and some bowing. There is what appears to be something orange standing in front of my feet, but it is too small to tell what it is.*
