Another GDI Straggler gets blinked next to Vorthon.
"Okay, WHAT the fuck. First my platoon gets burned to death, I see all my surviving friends get teleported away and now I end up with an Anthro!"

"Hello... This is awkard... I wasn't expecting company..."

"Oh believe me, this isn't the worst day of your life yet."

*slaps the side of Berkar's head*
"tell me if you can see correctly, just in case i need to adjust your lenses"

"Heh. I actually kinda missed your insults."

*The Carnifex breaks off from the main horde, detouring towards the Ark.*
"And I have missed your constant griping as well. A self as insidiously annoying as yours is quite hard to find."

*Meanwhile, the 'nid swarm has by now mostly converged onto the fight. The ground below is covered in a thick layer of corpses, Tyranid, Human, Scrin and Void Dragons alike. The main spawning pool is by now overflowing with biomass despite the countless bodies that swarm out of it. Rivulets of pus-like grime slithering between the bodies of the fallen, breaking them down and into more weapons for the Tyranids.*

*Nysa looks around.*

"Y'know, you're not that bad. I mean, you saved everyone from that vacuum collapse. Frenemies?"

*The monster grins, a mouth stuffed full of bolt-like teeth designed to rip through tank armor like paper, as it lowers the pod to the grouns near the Ark.*
"Being reduced to nothingness is quite low on my <<To do:>> list. If actions I take in self-preservation also ensure the survival of others, all the better. Flicker-lives tend to appreciate such courses of events."

*The things seems distraught for a moment, then lumbers off to recycle itself, its upper weapons rendered useless by becoming a cradle for the pod.*
"Heh... survival through escape... and she is bound to this world..."

*Nysa jumps out of the pod, surprisingly agile for something so big, and runs inside the ark.*

*Ochita looks at the various holes in his body...*
