[Something Evil]

*As Tyranids pour forth from the ground in defense of one thing one of their kind ever knew as a home-world, the skies begin to practically darken as dense clouds of winged bodies block out the very sun. The tide of Tyranids is even thicker on the ground, forests flattened by the advancing living war machines. As they gather to join the fray, a tight ball of flying Tyranids, dozens of meters across, plows into an airborne Dragon's shoulder. The things scamper onto the larger beast's body, pulling it off balance. At the point of impact remains the Tyrant, lashwhip wrapped around the Dragon's neck, the living weapon's nine small "heads" burrowed in its glass-like skin.*
"You seek to take my flesh and drink my blood? Then you will have them! You will have so much of them forced down your throats that you will choke upon them, the very thing you sought to claim as Food destroying you!"
*It then begins hacking away at the grappled Dragon, its bonesword and two scything claws literally flensing the larger creature's skin off its body.*

*The Dalor that ran into that dwarf is busy planning the party.*

-Outside-

*A sunflower seed-shaped object plummets through the atmosphere, its metallic exterior glowing from the heat. As it plummets towards the ground, the Tyrant senses a familiar mind.*

((I thought I'd be nice.))

[Something Evil]

((Thanks, but... You drop-pod her in the middle of a fight!? Why not pick her up later, with the Ark, from a stricken escort gunship that got fragged by a more-or-less stray shot. Your call, tho.))

*The drop pod plows through a pocket of 'nids, leaving a thin gouge in their formation. A Carnifex, a gigantic upright monster picks up the pod in its upper claws, residual heat from the paneling slowly burning a perfectly-shaped cradle for the object in its gigantic scything talons.*

[Vorthon]

((Feh. Call me crazy. And see y'all tommorow. And I want Nysa to live, so if I come back and she's dead, there's going be hell to pay. {I never really got that saying, but, meh.} In other words, I'm out 'til tomorrow.))

*A hatch on the surface of the pod opens to reveal Nysa, who looks rather confused. She sits up and looks around.*

"Why the Kraahk did I ever think this was a good idea?"

so if I come back and she's dead, there's going be hell to pay. I never really got that saying, but, meh.

((Imagine having to pay the infinite entirety of Hell. Every little cauldron-of-boiling-oil-stoving little imp. Makes sense to me. Also, short of "Rocks fall, everyone dies" you're safe as houses in the middle of a plague of 'nids that don't want you dead; oxymoronic, I know, but meh. And who will Terry the Tyranid Hive Tyrant annoy if she croaks!?))

*The Carnifex' head lowers towards her, almost the size of the drop pod itself. Above the monster's head, a thick smear of darkness blocks out the light, flying Tyranids yet to join the fray.*
"You most likely thought it was an idiotic idea, on some deep unconscious level. Hence you putting it into practice. Also, you should stay put."
*It uses its head to gesture to the swarm of Tyranids covering the ground.*
"Falling in that would be extremely hazardous. Most of my selves are running on automatic; <<Go here, kill these.>> and little else."

[iceball3]

*Shocks awake from my school induced coma.*
"Wah?..."
*Looks up.*
"...Piss."
*Latches a tendril of oozesterosity up to the  top of the ex-sky spire, catapulting myself into the air at the oncoming foes.

The Ark seems to be transporting people somewhere. Probably to the planet or something.

[Something Evil]

*The endless tide of 'nids continues to tear multiple new assholes in the Void Dragons that are assaulting the planet. However, a few sneak aboard a bundle of clanking metal items, hide it in an air duct, and skitter off.*
((The Ark's on the planet, hijacked by Taric and Olon; All aboard who's going aboard. The planet is set to pop any minute.))

((Taric's offline, so no sploding yet. And everyones getting aboard, whether they want to or not ))
