Jack facepalms and follows.
"Well. That was a bit lame. Oh well."

He pulls back to an abandoned village, and ducks into one of the shelters.

And Jack follows.
"I think this is far enough...."

[Phantom]

"For you, anyway. I'm taking the subterranean tunnels the civilians made."

[Twi]

"And your destination?"

[Phantom]

"Phoenix base, that's the base I'm stationed at for quite some time."

[Twi]

"Isn't Phoenix the capital of Arizona?"

[Phantom]

"Yeah, I have a long way to travel. And a lot of forces to avoid, all of Texas is controlled by NOD. I simply deep striked into their territory, that's all."

[Twi]

Jack chuckles.
"Good luck. I think I'll go waste some NOD soldier's ammo. And have fun while doing it."

[Phantom]

"Have fun, then."

[Twi]

"Yup."
Jack goes back to being a wireframe and walks out, back towards the NOD base.

[Phantom]

Dariel is taking the time to dispose of his junk.

NOD is kinda preoccupied with the fact some random GDI Light Infantry soldier popped out of nowhere, killed a platoon and an officer, and then just disappeared.

Meh, Jack is walking up to a NOD soldier and tapping them on the shoulder nonetheless. Assuming they don't see him already. Low visibility, eh?
