Eh, nothing happens. The Dog runs off, somehow finds Verdokai and tackles him, while Dariel ends up in his room with a book which he begins to read.

Thera ends up in Dariel's room too, looking over his shoulder at said book.
"What are you reading?"

"The Spirit of St. Louis."
Huh? When the hell did he get a book written by a pilot who got a Californian Airport named after him?

((Yay for absurd amounts of books owned by my father.))

[Twi]

"What's it about?"
Thera is quite curious.

[Phantom]

"Some book about some famous pilot. He lived in the 20th century or something."

[Twi]

"Okay then."
Thera keeps looking, whee.

[Phantom]

It's a 530 page book with extremely small print, plus Dariel is going to try to read the whole thing in one sitting. She's going to be looking at it for a long time.

[Twi]

Thera shakes her head sadly and walks away. >_>

Meanwhile...Stephan's wandered over to the old GDI base. Interesting.

Which one? The one claimed by Taric's dwarves or the one still a concrete wasteland?

In the latter case...
Craters, burn marks, and left over equipment galore.

Concrete wasteland.
And Stephan's scrounging through said leftover equipment.

[Phantom]

Spent casings, the occasional M16 Mk. II Pulse Rifle, Cheryl's Helmet, and a bunch of Disc Grenades. There are is also one left over Harvester that had been converted into a cargo truck.

Pulse rifle: Grabbed.
Cheryl's Helmet: Taken, note to return it to her at a later date.
Disc grenades: Some mutterings about stick grenades. huh.
Harvester: Attempting to start up.
