Dariel is attempting to crawl away from the thing, while slicing away at the tentacles and feelers closing in.

*The creature seems to get angrier the more that dariel chops of various bits of it (Wouldn't you?), and eventually jumps up, attempting to land on Dariel and squish him with its bulk.*

[Phantom]

Being rather tired of this shit, Dariel rolls out of the way and brings out his Hellgun, spraying the creature all over with laser fire, and the wounds caused tend to be instantly cauterized by the heat.

[Vorthon]

*The creature shrieks, tumbles in the air, and lands square on its head, causing the ceiling to shake, and dirt and small bits of rock to fall ominously from the ceiling.*

[Phantom]

Dariel is still spraying until he's sure it's dead. And he's collecting the loot while doing so.

[Vorthon]

*The creature is quite dead, its tiny brain crushed by the violent impact with the floor. The shooting just fills the room with the stench of charbroiled scorpion-leopard-octopus-anglerfish-millipede-thingy.*

*Killious continuse walking holding Kittens hand.*

Dariel is working on collecting all the loot.

[Vorthon]

*A large slab in the ceiling slips a bit, in an ominous manner. (I like the word ominous. =P)*

*Sitting on a chair on a balcony of the glass palace.*

He's still trying to get all the loot out of there safely and quickly, but to be safe he tries to have a quick way out.

[Vorthon]

*There are numerous exits, but the aforementioned slab just so happens to take up ~5/8 of the ceiling.*

[Phantom]

Taking out as much loot as a human could possibly carry, Dariel leaves.

*Aegis is still outside her room.*
