((Dropship, apparently, SE.))
"I see I'm not the only one outfitted for a warzone."

[Vorthon]

*After a short wait, the dropship undocks, and begins its descent to Arduinna's surface. It lands in a clearing in a jungle of strange, alien-looking floraforms. The most common variety is centered on a squat bulb, roughly four feet across and three feet tall on average, dark brown in colour and striated with burnt orange splotches, from which numerous green, feathery fronds project up from its surface, giving them an average overall height of seven feet.

N:"Interesting..."

*Nysa presses a button, and a landing ramp descends from the dropship's hull, allowing the explorers to get out.*

[Ochita]

*Aegis comes down, wearing some simple leather armor with metal studding. Jonathan is simply wearing a survival vest, and carries a 9mm.*

[Phantom]

Dariel does the obvious and walks out, and scans the area for anything huge and most likely to eat Vorthon.
{Goddamn jungles. Cadians aren't meant for this shit.}

[Ochita]

[Dariel[Can't you sense minds or something?]

[Keita]

*Yui follows the drop ship down and tranforms back to regular Yui as she touches down onto the ground.*

K:"It appears I missed the whole pantheon in my absence."

[Something Evil]

*Amy flanks Crystal, her rifle at rest at her side, and starts looking around.*
A: "Wonder if there's anything edible in this place."

[Phantom]

[Jonathan[Yes, but I'm not sure if animals and plants have minds to begin with.]
Hellgun is shouldered and Power Sword is brought out. Dariel decides to be the first guy far out and begins to head directly away from the dropship, cutting away flora.

[Tellemurius]

*Sits in his room meditating*
{speed is my advantage.....}

[Vorthon]

((Aww! Dariel actually cares! ))

*V&N, and Erneral and Kol (Who never left the dropship. Derp.) get out and look around. Nysa pulls out a machete that the average human being would describe as 'absurdly large', and starts hacking away alongside Dariel, to carve a path in the jungle.*

N:"Well, let's not waste time. I saw what looked like a village on our way down. I think it's about time for first contact."

*A small creature scurries out of the underbrush. It seems the vertebrate analouges for this world are have trilaterlal symmetry as opposed to bilateral. It resembles a somewhat thing tube, which tapers slightly towards the top, and ends in a single eye. Its three leg are space evenly around it torso, branching from its midsection. It squats for a moment, oblivious to the alien explorers^, and when it stands up again, a roughly circular patch of groundcover flora is gone. It seems it mouth is located at its base. It then scurries off again.*

((^Remember! We're the aliens here!))

[Phantom]

Dariel almost stabs the alien.
"Gah! Dammit, I'm a Cadian not a Catachan..."
Still cutting the flora and advancing onward, maybe or maybe not towards that village. Yay for swords that can cut through Space Marine armor.

[Vorthon]

*Vorthon, Erneral and Kol follow Dariel and Nysa. They glance around at the strange jungle around them, their faces full of curiousity and childish delight.*

[Ochita]

"Jonathan, holster the gun.."
*Jonathan does so, and Aegis sheafs her sword.*
[Dariel[Right. Well... If you look at Aegis's mind... Well. But, shall we move on?]
