*The Tyranid points to the nearby pools of pus-yellow soup, quite large by now, small, chittering creatures skittering around them. Near them, short, grass-like tendrils quiver and wave without the slightest wind. Leafed, shrub-like growths crop up at intervals, strange bulbous pods in their centre. Large, tall spires of chitin-covered flesh rise, thicker than a man, far above the trees, bony spikes delimitating their segments. The entire area seems like a strange parody of nature.*

"If you do posses such an ability, then why berate us so? Does that not make you akin to parasites, leaving the stricken body of a dying host and searching for a new one? If we possessed such a skill, the end result would be the same: We would pour through and Eat again, until there is nowhere else to go."

We do not kill for pleasure or sport, nor do we take enjoyment in the pain of what we fight, despite having Eaten many that do, and knowing what they felt. Nor do we single out worlds that have developed sentient life. Anything that may be of use will do, from dust and asteroid to worlds counting hundreds of millions."
"We Eat to survive, not survive to Eat, though perhaps to you such distinction means quite little. We take life to preserve our own and in so doing adding to our whole. We are ourselves, living, dead and those as yet unborn, and everything we ever Ate. Such great atrocities, indeed."

*Nysa jumps back suddenly, smirking*

"I still think," Nysa said, pushing a button a wrist-watch style computer console, "You should die."
*A ship lands in a nearby clearing, and deploys a landing ramp. Dozens of mechs of various kinds, from the basic one-person open cockpit style to massive behemoths requiring a crew of at least half a dozen individuals march out of the ship and advance on the Tyranid pools, blasting away at them.*

"You know what we do with viruses? We contain them and use them for our own purposes. They make excellent vectors for delivering genetic material in gene-enigneering projects."

[Tellemurius]

"alright enough with the fucking invaders!"
*points at Nysa*
"get your peons off this fort, don't make me use my shard cannon"

"they're not invaders. Once the threat has been eliminated, they will leave."

*pulls out energized shard cannon*
"Tell them to GTFO!"

[Vorthon]

*pulls out energized shard cannon*

"My, my. Someone's in a foul mood. I've already said, they're no threat. And besides, the mechs can be repurposed as construction bots."

*Vorthon runs and jumps at Tellemurius, knocking him to the ground*

"Don't. You. Dare." he snarled.

*unsheathes claws and bares fangs*

"NYA!"
*swipes at Vorthon's chest*

*goes and sits next to Tenshi*

"I should probably mention... My right arm is actually a coherent swarm of nanobots."
*Vorthon morphs his right arm from the elbow down into a wicked-looking blade. He then swipes at Tellemurius with it.*

"And nanotech augmentation to my immune system and various other biological functions are very useful."
*Silvery threads stitch the slash wounds on Vorthon's chest closed.*
