"Oh dear. Well, sure, I could use some hot chocolate if you have any. IT'S COLD OUT THERE."
Meanwhile, Kata is looking for more inhabitants elsewhere in the base.

"Okay, good thing they left some of that."
Cheryl goes back into the side room and after about two or three minutes she comes back out with a mug of hot chocolate for Thera.


Everyone else is pretty much asleep or on boring guard duty.


The Techpriest managed to set himself and an Electro-priest on fire. Oi.

Thera takes the mug and sips it.
"Mmm."

Kata decides to surprise some people on boring guard duty... At least give them someone to talk to.

Meanwhile, Kata's also trying to figure out a relatively portable device to make the GDI base a little less inhospitable.

Go ahead, confuse the three guys standing at the reactor and speaking to each other in German or the South Africans down over by the silos.

[Twi]

Or talk to them, anyways.
Reactor dudes are go.
"Oh, hi. Glad to see there's another living soul out here, at least."
Kata leans on something non-dangerous, like, for instance, a wall. >_>

[Phantom]

"Hello, ma'am. And it's always nice to see someone new around, any reason you're coming to this damn freezing place?"

[Twi]

Kata shrugs.
"Just checking it out. Also, been thinking about ways to make it less damn freezing. Mostly tapping geothermal heat from somewhere."

[Phantom]

"Eh, it's mostly our fault for heading waaay to far north. The sun barely reaches this place, but some people like it..."

[Twi]

"So I saw."
Kata shrugs again.
"One would think there would be far more people who didn't like it."

[Phantom]

"We don't exactly come from a normal Earth with normal weather you know."

[Twi]

"Ah, that explains it. So, aside from turning into icicles, what's up around here?"

[Phantom]

"...Nothing, really. This place isn't interesting at all."
