Before he takes his position with the rest of his squad, he removes his helmet and kisses Thera back.
"Goodbye."
He sighs as the helmet is reequipped, and when he takes his position. A few teenagers, the aforementioned Whiteshields, run back and forth hurriedly transferring orders to the squads without Vox Operators.

And manages to blink back into the Ark and reunite with her soul. She's still human form.
She promptly finds the meeting.
"Hey, what did I miss?"
Twi: "...Thera? Is that you?"
Thera: "Yeah, I changed so I could...Nevermind. Just what the hell is going on?"

The Salamander looks towards the impact site with unease and nuzzles Anatoly.

Anatoly wonders how much she weighs so the trip could be made quicker with the Jump Jet. Rather dismayed by the silence begins to sing an old Russian military song. He also doesn't really know the distance to the crater...
