Thera sighs.
"Yep, all messed up. So then... Well, at least we're going somewhere at least slightly safer."

"Slightly safer is debatable. At least we're coming up on it soon."
After quite a few minutes of fighting and driving.
Ah, old stone and steel buildings, zig-zagged streets for better defense, and a giant fortress. What more can a person ask for? Why, the three other regiments already stationed there with a good amount of supplies. Most of the troops are given time to rest as long as another attack doesn't occur, and Dariel decides to get some tea from one of the only open businesses there.

Shimmer-Dariel is juggling a hap-hazardly made stack of Tannerite.

*Yumi smiles* Y:"That's good to hear"

[Twi]

"Slightly, mind you. Safe? Not a chance."

At the fort, Thera follows Dariel to said business, because why not.

*Mimuri resumes meditating*

*Firing is heard from the hole and small cries. Clay is running around taking aimed shots at the random creatures*

Depending on how far is Telle, Shimmer-Dariel may or may not have raised an eyebrow.



Oi, nothing much special about the rest of the day except for the brawl with some Elysians on the way back to the barracks.

"Yeah.. I plan to protect you for as long as I can Yumi..."
*Aegis gazes into Yumi's eyes, her eyes filled with love and such*
"Uh, so Amity, how has life been recently?"

[Twi]

And Thera is deftly avoiding brawling.

Meanwhile, the aluminum Kata has set off again at remarkable pace...
Oh,she's headed north, towards the GDI base.

*He finds the portal, and a damn dragon*
"Oh what the hell...."
*Pulls out his rifle*

[iceball3]

Kata scowls at the thermite.
"That's exactly what I thought it was. Don't burn it in here. I don't like being burned. It hurts."

"Ah, sorry about that then. I'll go find some little spot to play with this then. You can keep that chunk if you want to."
*Begins walking off with my thermos of thermite.*

[Twi]

"Eh, I think I might."
Kata does indeed keep the chunk and starts planning what to do with it.

[Phantom]

And Dariel is charging headlong into the brawling along with a few other Cadians. Those Elysian Drop Troopers are a little bit more soft than the Cadians...



The Aluminum Kata is going to have to travel faaaar north.

[Something Evil]

*Amy has mostly finished her plate, and now takes the roast out of the oven.*
A: "Wonderful."
*She turns to Crystal, and continues:*
A: "It's quiet, I'm with the woman I love, we have friends... and family."

And Thera is facepalming, and reluctantly joins said brawling after Dariel does.

And, the Aluminum Kata is doing so, and making pretty good pace to boot. How the hell does she go that fast? O_o
