Lavi looks down, then laughs.
"Oh, sure!"
She lazily gets to her feet, and yawns, exposing long, sharp teeth. She spreads her wings, then leaps into the air and glides down to land on a suitable block of road, to avoid crushing any buildings.

"Dariel, stop that."

Most of the troopers leave by then, except for three known individuals.
The Corporal, Anatoly, and Cheryl. Cheryl questions her.
"So, Lavi, why are you trying to scare the crap out of everyone?"


Dariel instantly moves to catch the ball after he hears Kata.
"Yes ma'am. Sorry, but I was just doing it because I don't have anything else to do, and I assumed Thera was busy."

[Taricus]

"Right, just wait there."

*Runs off and brings back a small crate full of Omnitool gloves, parts and such.*

"So, what's up?"

Meanwhile, Thera enters Dariel's room.
"Sorry I'm late."

"Because it was fun. Well, it was while it lasted."
Lavi grins.
"Also, something occurs to me. All the towns on this planet seem almost isolated from each other. It's a bit sad, really."

[Taricus]

*Sets the box on the ground*

"Left or right handed?"

[Phantom]

Anatoly looks at Cheryl and she shrugs, and then answers.
"...Well, we've never actually been contacted, but we could easily keep communication with anyone else."


Dariel looks at Thera.
"It's okay. Well...
Uh, at least I'm in the mood now."

[Twi]

"Yeah, I'm not surprised. Problem is, most of those towns are much lower-tech, and, well."

She shifts  back to normal form.
"You know, I've been thinking that carrying mail might be a good thing to do if there's even one thing worth carrying. Go some interesting places while I'm at it, y'know?"

K:"Right"

[Phantom]

"Uh, I'm not sure even anyone on this planet needs mail carried though. Well, we might need that if we want to contact anyone with absolutely no technology or transport at all..."

[Twi]

"Eh, some people might. But I'm sure I can fly pretty darn fast. Hell, I might be able to keep up with some of those motor vehicles of yours, though I haven't tried."
Lavi smiles.
"Even if it's pointless, it's still an excuse to go out there and find new things, new places, new people, the whole works."

Thera smiles.
"Cool, cool."
She winks and hugs Dariel.

((Alive again))

*Quite suddenly, a beacon soaring through the air strikes the ground outside, planting itself in, blinking yellow. A memory of someone from long ago glints slightly in the memories of all who can see it. It is a small beacon, but it shines brightly nevertheless.*

Dariel blinks.
"I heard, nevermind.

Well, I hope Kata isn't watching..."

Cheryl straightens her back.
"Well, why don't you bring that up with the people who might need it?"
