*From its point of contact with the ground, a patch of uneven, slippery ice spreads out near-instantly. Strangely, the thing seems to have far better footing, managing to make a sharp turn back towards his target, the two dimly glowing lines raised to make a downward slash towards Bob's torso.*

*Amy sits down at the table and starts eating.*

*The ice splinters, turning to powder and whirling into the air, Bob once again sidesteps, at the same time casting a wall of energy around himself and the thing, preventing anyone from even being able to detect a hint of the fight*

*Another patch of ice forms, granting the thing mobility again, allowing it to halt its charge, and take a standing sweep at Bob.*

*The cold from it seems to radiate like some twisted opposite of heat, chilling to the very soul.*

*Bob begins to radiate heat, countering the cold* [You'll have to do much better than that]

*The charging, swinging thing focuses on Bob's heart, intent on turning it into a block of ice.*


*Amy is eating her omelet, thinking about pickles.*
