Dariel walks up and grabs the thrown medal, just to hide it in the helmet of his armor, left in the room.

[Twi]

Kata sighs.
"So."

[Phantom]

Dariel sighs.
"I want to go home."

[Twi]

"Why? Home doesn't seem like a nice place. AT all."

[Phantom]

"At least I fit in there. And don't feel depressed."

*Kitten hops on*

[Twi]

"...You don't fit in here?"

Thera grins and starts walking around with Kitten on her back.

[Phantom]

"I'm some random, partly religious human that is surrounded by abhumans, Xenos, or anything similar. Looking at everyone else, I contrast by a lot."
Dariel quietly thinks about his whole life with the Imperial Guard. His whole life. He's barely seen any aspect of civilian life, let alone experienced it.

[Twi]

"And Thera's Jewish. Your point?"

[Phantom]

"Yeah but sometimes I end up murdering people for it. Hell, that's the same for almost everyone else in the regiment. But 'almost everyone else' is dead."

[Twi]

"...I'm failing to see how that works."

[Phantom]

"I don't feel like explaining it."
Dariel pauses.
"I guess my only real excuse for going back there is happiness. And peace of mind."

[Twi]

"Eh..."

And Thera goes into the Ark and says, "I gotta talk to Dariel. See, I'm kinda married, believe it or not. Anyways, have fun. Stay here, or don't. Though I'd prefer it if I could find you when I'm done, you cute little thing. <3"
She drops Kitten off and goes into Dariel's room, which Kata conveniently vanished from.
"Hey."

[Phantom]

"What."
Dariel withdraws into the protective skin of his armor.

[Twi]

"What do you mean, what?"
