Stephan's mouth is too full of marshmallows for him to answer.
Lavi  laughs.
"Anytime. I'm a bit hug-happy myself." She chuckles.

Cheryl ends up waking at this probably inopportune moment.
"Gah, what the hell, I just saw all of Robin Hood: Men In Tights for some reason..."

*While the core components remain unchanged, the 'nid's project slowly begins diverging from the original. For one thing, the gateway is heavily armed and armored. For another, secondary systems are placed, designed to cause a violent feedback in the gateway, should it need to be forced shut. Reserves of antimatter are shuttled to the ring and transferred inside, prepared to power the additional elements. After a few systems tests, the thing is brought online, and its coordinates transmitted by the departed hiveships to the probe.*

A: "Wow. This stuff is good. I'll need to ask my <<boss>> about the recipe later."


*The 'nid is still waiting for the Elfdar's reply.*

Hey look an Eldar Ranger is stuck in the spiritstone.
"...Damn Mon-keighs shot me!"

T: "This is your most unlucky day ever, then. Welcome to the madhouse. Want out?"

"Yeah, sure. It's better than being enslaved to Slaanesh."

*Crystal nods*

*Most of the ships in the system converge on the gate, intent on atomizing anything hostile that may come out.*

*Amy finishes the meal, licks her plate clean, then slumps back in her chair.*
A: "That hit the spot."

*The stone is carried off and placed inside a pool of biomatter formed haphazardly by the shielding brain's accidental exposure.*
T: "One Eldar body, unremarkable."
*Tissue begins to form into a body around the stone, the red gem serving as a brain.*

*Crystal finishes and walks over to Amy, Kneeling by her seat*

*Amy looks at Crystal, puzzled.*

*Crystal leans up against Amy and purrs*

[Phantom]

When done, the Eldar Ranger gets up, probably without clothes, and merely comments:
"Agh, stupid mon-keighs got me sent here. Now, where is the nearest Craftworld?"

*Amy begins stroking Crystal's hair.*
A: "How can you be so adorable?"

*A warrior slithers over to the butt-naked Eldar and, crossing over its four arms, simultaneously points up, down, left and right.*
T: "That way."
