The two South African muggers look at Stephen.
"Ja, you're right."
The russian guy sprawled on the ground gets kicked by one of them as the other points his weapon a Stephen.

C:"Mmm. That sounds like a good plan.. I'm starving lately"
*The signal continues, still faint*

A: "Well, that bar was supposed to inflate in your stomach and release antacids, so it should cut off hunger. Want me to cook something anyway?"

*The 'nids wait, still being 'nids.*

C:"Sure"
*The signal gets no clearer*

[Twi]

Stephen counters with a weapon of his own, which happens to be a Desert Eagle.
His other hand is sorta covered in fire. By which I mean, totally covered in fire. And apparently perfectly fine.
"I may not be the most savory type myself, but frankly, I hate muggers. They tend to burst into flame when I'm around."

[Phantom]

Russian guy stops getting beat into a pulp as the mugger backs away, as does gun toting mugger. However, their weapons stay up.
_{"Shit, what the hell is with that guy's hand!?"
"Just back away slowly, it will probably hurt as much as that time in Slovakia..."}

[Twi]

Stephen glares, as a trail of fire snakes towards the muggers.
"Return that man's money. Now. Or I'll have to shoot you. Or burn you. Or both."

[Phantom]

Victim Kicker throws the 10,000 rubles back at the Russian Guy, who is currently staggering up.
"Okay, there. What other demands, freak?"
Victim Kicker pulls the bolt back on his assault rifle while Gun Toter pumps his shotgun.

*Amy wriggles out from beneath Crystal and heads off to nick more food off Clayton, namely a whole chicken. After cleaning, making certain cuts in it then stuffing it between the skin and meat with a cocktail of herbs, beyond the usual vegetable stuffing inside its body, the bird it is placed in the cooker. Pealed potatoes are soon added to the tray, whole, and the result set to a slow flame to ripen and cook.*

*A dozen ships join the initial five, their formation a makeshift receiver dish. They listen intently for the signal, trying to pinpoint its origin or recover some of its meaning, while heading out at fast pace towards the general direction of its origin.*

[Tellemurius]

"You know you can just ask?"

[Twi]

Stephen chuckles.
"Yeah, I get that a lot. Except there's usually no assault weapons pointed at me. "

He sighs.
"Now, then, I'm afraid one of your... 'customers', sent me to 'deal' with you. Sadly, it's not worth killing you..."
He pauses.
"But if I were you, I'd be getting out of here. I don't play games."

The two muggers look at each other, discussing the situation in their native language. After a few more words they split and run off to different parts of the base. Russian Guy curses at them as he gathers the rubles, and walks over to Stephen.
"Well, thanks for getting rid of those guys for now. This is the third time they got me this week...
Hey, do you need any money right now?"

[Something Evil]

"You know you can just ask?"

*Amy shrugs and sits down on a chair.*
A: "Well, I've been using your food for a while now, and I know you knew about it and didn't bother to pester me about it, so I figured you were okay with it. It's not like I'm sneaking around cooking things, and you're welcome to eat some if you want to. You were the only one whose food I trusted to be edible."

*The signal is an automated beacon, requesting the co-ordinates of our trade station and jump gate*

*The 'nids keep heading towards the emitter, intent on eventually reaching it and uncovering some knowledge about its creators through its construction, while the Tyrant is trying to figure out what coordinate types to use, and most of all how the in the Void to get a <<jump gate>>."

Stephen chuckles.
"Ironically enough, I was doing this in part because I didn't have enough money to buy what I wanted to buy, and the seller gave me a deal. So it would be nice, but I don't really need it."
