*The red panda has dozed off, Crystal's warmth, scent and affectionate ministrations having lulled her into sleep. Every once in a while, she moves her arm, changing the angle of her hug, happily murmuring things about fluffy white clouds.*

"Everything which she has made apparent. I respect all of your privacy enough not to look for anything you are trying to hide. And as I said, even if I couldn't do anything about the affliction itself, I may be able to reassure her about Tenshi's fate"

*Crystal is doing general things that one does when being treated as a teddy bear*

Y:"Ok you do realise that this can only be fixed with a precedure that requires Killious to be shut down, effectivly dead yet dreaming, here brain stripped of machines and body flushed of nano-machines and then everything built from scratch without her knowing or feeling? One wrong bump into a brain cell starts a chain reation that can blank out patches of ones personality and can wipe their emotions. Bumping a nano-machine against anything in her body fires off an electronic rampage that can fry nerves in her hieghtend senses."

"I... I just.. I really don't want to risk it..."

"And, being that I was, until recently, dead. I don't think I could do such a delicate procedure.. Not at the moment anyway. The most I can do is soothe any pain she might experience.. Damn it...."

*Yui smiles and takes Yumi's hands.*

Y:"We have plenty of time, it can take a minimum of months sometimes years or decades for it to get to the second stage where things get...unpleasant for her."

Y:"Don't, you'll push Killious over the edge and she'll do it herself. There is a way, I know there is but I haven't found it yet."

Y:"Please Yumi, you need to recuperate after your ordeal I can handle this... please?"

"Hmph.. Considering that I would die either way?"

Y:"What you think I'm going to sit here and let that happen? I've got this problem all most sorted out, I need a little more time."

*Yui nods and smiles.*

"Of course, but as I said all I need is time."

"Hmph.. Considering that I would die either way?"

T: "You are so wonderfully self-absorbed by your own desire to sacrifice yourself for the good of others that you fail to see the proverbial forest. The... Shal'Tau can be put into a chemically-induced coma, then her blood scoured for samples of the nanomachines. These can then be studied until their failsafe off-switch is found, as anything as potentially dangerous as this must have one. Finally, the impulse transmitters on her neurons can be incapacitated, axons stripped of their myelin sheath to prevent an impulse cascade. All within the cover of the Shadow, naturally, to prevent any harm to the local deity."
