"Hmm...Dwarves aren't exactly adapted for high altitudes, and I'm one of the few dwarves in this 'dwarf' fortress. So probably not. You could probably bring Lisa along, though."

*As MM inspects it, he takes note of several of it's features...*
*It has a 10x10 yard platform with a control panel in the center. At the base of the control panel is First aid and surgical medical supplies. The platform detaches from the earth when it goes up but remains parallel to the spire. It has Plexiglas barriers along the sides that are 2 feet in height. It is powered by diffusion of matter and antimatter above it, causing vertical acceleration.*
*I look at Twi.*
