*The drain of energy is almost visible in the air, small slivers of light flowing into the book. The scribbling and whispers from inside intensify.*



*Amy is using the ever-useful lighting fixture to perform pull-ups, raising her legs and curling up into a ball in the air at the apex of each motion as she hangs on. The pulls themselves as well as the descents are slow, forcing her to use solely muscle strength and forgo momentum, putting more strain on her body. The fixture itself sways and clings as Amy's center of balance shifts.*

A: "*pling* 98, *huff* ... *pling* 99, *huff* ... *pling* 100. *huff* ... "

*She lets go and lands on her feet only to see Crystal watching.*

"Morning" *Crystal smiles*

*The Tyrant stubbornly seeks out Yumiko's mind again.*
T: "No answer? And yet I have just asked you be more hardy in your demeanor. You so easily take to heart a baseless augury of doom and gloom and simply wall yourself off, waiting for it to run its course without even trying to find whether it has the slightest grain of truth, let alone if it can be stopped? When you vowed to take the robot as a spouse, you did realize you must take her for better or for worse, did you not? And here you hide now, moping, back turned to the supposed imminence of tragedy? Do you truly have no resolve of your own? Or do you not care for Aegis, and only for yourself, using her predicament and those of others, as well as your pointless acts of self-sacrifice to become the bearer of all crosses and inflate your ego?"


*Amy sits on her own bed, facing Crystal.
A: "*sigh* Okay... About last night... about me and you... Uh... Are you trying to match up to Yumiko getting married or something? I mean, why do you even feel the need to get into a relationship?"

*The Tyrant's questions are met by a wall of silence*

A: "Hey, c'm on! Look at me. *sigh* Okay. Let's say you love me for love's sake. Do you really know what you're getting yourself into? I mean, you've never been with anyone before, have you? You do know about... uh... the birds and bees and... *grins* the big, feathery bumblebee that goes <<Tweet, tweet>>, right? I mean, you realize what could happen if this goes far enough..."

*Crystal blushes* "Of course I do!" *She giggles* "I was once an omniscient god... although.. I've forgotten most of what I knew now"

*Amy grins.*
A: "Well, I doubt you'll have to be flying a spaceship any time soon. *sigh* And you're okay with it, even knowing what might happen?"

A: "Well, wouldn't you be rather doing something for yourself rather than getting saddled with me and with... uh... developments? I don't know; see the world, make a name for yourself..."

"Yeah, that's going to work, cuz we all know how well I operate when you aren't around"

A: "And that's something else we'll need to work on. I can't just have you staring at the clock when I babysit the ship's boyfriend, and I'm not really so eager on taking you along, lest we run into trouble... Though considering we're only going a stone's throw away and nothing bothered to rip through this place so far, I guess there's nothing of the big, ferocious and stupid variety around."
