"im better with spells and guns"

*Rolls back and jumps to his feet*

"You'll need a lot more training if you want to go toe-to-toe with the pointy-ears"

"they only play with lances and bows but their magic burns like hell but thats what the armor is for"

[Taricus]

"Fair enough, it may be the lances you'll have to worry about"

"They are easier to deflect but they do got nasty stings"
*rubs side*
"well i need to practice close combat with guns but i highly doubt you want to do that"

"Nothing an upgrade of the shooting range can't do"

"no i mean sticking a pistol up your face and defend yourself practice"

"Good point, holograms can't really give that kind of CQC training"

*After a while, Amy steps out of the bathroom, wrapped in enough heavy towel to make a comicbook sultan envious. The fur on her long tail, striped red and white, plastered into clumps by what water couldn't be toweled off seems akin to a living candy cane. The red panda herself seems composed and energized by the shower, back to a more serious and stern demeanor.*
A: "Okay. First thing's first. We need to get you another room."

"Oh?" *Crystal raises an eyebrow*

A: "Well, probably the only reason it wasn't you I was choking was because I was on the floor... "

C:"Perhaps, but who's to say that someone else won't chance upon you having a nightmare, and, in attempting to wake you, suffer the fate I almost did?"

*Amy cringes at the recollection, guilt showing up on her visage.*
A: "Well, that's pretty much why I sleep alone, or at least alone in the bed... When I was in the crew, the usual way during deployments was to jab whoever was having a rough dream through the mattress from the cot below... I honestly don't know... I don't want to get anyone hurt, you least of all."
