*Amy stirs in her sleep, some rather nasty memories bobbing up into her dreams and waking her. She chuckles at the sight of the figure resting against her and softly picks up the rather larger Crystal in her arms. After a moment's hesitation, she takes the sleeping fox to her own room and places her on the bed. The panda's flexible plastic canteen serves as her pillow as she settles down to sleep on the floor.*

*Meanwhile, deep below the earth, the Tyrant's ritual progresses, the heavy tome that once belonged to a Chaos sorcerer suspended in mid air, stretched open, the ever-shifting writing on the pages being changed and retooled to fit a new design. Hellish powers lash out as nightmarish things, alive and yet not quite, are cut and forced out of the item and seek new shape in the world, while others resist being bent out of their malevolent purpose with the ferocity becoming all creations of the Four. The Eldar-blood sigils, as well as the Tyranid's mind, are put under noticeable strain as the process to reforge the foul object progresses, keeping the daemonic presences subdued.*

"Not half bad. Though I still don't know how Twi managed to sneak out."

"He must have left when I wasn't looking."

"Well, is his ship still where it was left? And how did anyone not see him leave? I mean, almost everyone is in here."
