Alpha's sissy radiation, anyway. We'd have to stand inside a nuclear reactor to get much of that, given that it's pretty much stopped by the air.

Beta, maybe. It's stopped by human skin, or metal about the thickness of tin foil. We'd have to be incredibly thin-skinned to get much more than skin cancer off it, and while skin cancer is nasty, it's not something a zombie really cares about.

Gamma, maybe. It's the only radiation that's really dangerous when it comes from a source outside the body, but there's a fair amount of it out in space, which is where we come from, and you need a lot (A huge amount) to actually do any damage to cells. It does happen, especially in radioactive areas (Chernobyl), but it's not something the average person has to worry about, and zombies don't give a damn about radiation sickness.

For results: She attempts to infect two, her rebellious nature succeeds in prevent her from infecting one of them. She lives, but is in bad condition at the end.

Wow, the rebellious price to remove has risen up to 5. I guess we might have to live with that, which is a shame considering how much of a weakness it is. Still the bonuses we got are pretty nice, and should be helpful. Anyway we could probably do with some more points- our zombies are kind of pathetic right now which isn't letting us infect very fast. Any weaknesses may cripple us in the long term, but I'm impatient. With us being space travelling there's a lot of weaknesses that now don't make sense so I can't think of any good ones. Perhaps requiring a lot of food to avoid going in the hibernating phase, so we quickly damage our hosts? Though that could be a big weakness so I'm not entirely sure about it.

A note on rebelling: People tend to have the most difficulty rebelling immediately after being taken over, since it comes as a surprise and they do not understand what is happening. The longer they spend with the parasite, the longer their brain has to work around it. After a certain point, however, their rebellious nature starts to drop again, as the parasite adapts to its host and the brain begins to forget what it was like without the parasite. The host is perfectly capable of active rebellion at this point, they simply don't WANT to anymore most of the time. They've grown tired by the fight and just give in.

However, with a rebellious of 5, they will always have some self control, and the initial takeover is not nearly as strong.

You have two options - You can either choose to remove rebellious directly, OR you can work just one end of this curve.

Buying a point in something like "Adaptive Control" would hasten and strengthen the tail end of this process - the longer you spend in a host, the better you get, and the more secure your hold gets.

You can also work the other end, and make it so your initial control is stronger, but you don't adapt as well over time - the longer a host is infected, the more they remember of who they once were. You develop into more of a symbiotic relationship than something like outright dominance over the host.

Both of these would probe much cheaper the removing rebellious completely.

For an example of the second, see most modern day vampire movies.
