Considering how much stuff in the siteh needs some kind of know-how to operate, at least now day, rural intelligence is quite a draw back. Not knowing how to handle new tools, not much known about architecture, the city being totally alien.... not knowing the layout of office buildings, how to use coffee makers, not knowing how to operate mobile generators.

The college was sponsored by his parents, he was majoring microbiology geology. He was a bit pampered, but has a lot of money on his hands(useless once the outbreak starts). Recently he started reading the zombie survival guide sun tsu - the art of war. Since almost everyone on campus had a pistol license he recently applied for one himself.
