Not me, though I do have a pretty neat bag of gravel.

The pooch seems to be alright, thanks for the tips.

I gave the dog some liver, but it was from a poisoned rat also. :/

Started having full-blown PTSD panic attacks at work again, so that's a thing.

Tomorrow I have an interview for a similar job in a much less hellish office, so there's hope. I'm still looking for other jobs.

Meanwhile, I think on the way to panic attacks at work again.  Our CEO just sent out an email saying that the company couldn't comment on rumors and speculation after an article was posted on a news source saying the company was looking for a buyer.

This is after a big layoff right before Christmas last year (which I survived), my manager passing away from a heart attack three months prior to that, a massive outage that triggered said heart attack the day before, and a year and a half of dealing with friction from going through another acquisition.

I don't know that I'll make it through another acquisition.  I guess it's good that I've got some money saved up just in case, and we'll see if it happens and who buys the company if anyone does, but I just want to stop being stressed out.

I've got to be up in a few hours, to embark on a long day of northwards travel, broken up by (this is the part I dread most) a brief stop at the home of some semi-family for cups of tea and conversation and no doubt a barrage of irritating questions about my direction in life for which I have no real answers.

Then, several more hours of driving later, I will be back in my home state, for perhaps a brief period of relaxation before the stress begins again as I have to help family move house.
I still don't know where I'm going to end up. Can't help but feel like I should never have left Melbourne.

Oh hey, it's page 1337.

It's clearly 402, it says so right on the top and bottom of the page.

I'm curious as to how a tank would evolve. Would it climb out of the primordial ooze wiggling it's track-nubs, feeding on smaller jeeps before crawling onto the shore having evolved proper treds?

Yes, but also no. It depends on what you mean by no emotions. People don't go around feeling 120% emotions every time they feel stuff. But they don't go around feeling empty either. Most people's everyday emotions are little, unnoticeable things.
