Ran out of deodorant.
Had to walk to the shops (to buy food as well, not just deodorant) in the grips of an intense, "does-my-butt-smell-bad" paranoia on top of my usual anxiety. Whoof. That wasn't fun. Also I bashed my injured knee with a box of crackers when my shopping bag decided to rotate unexpectedly.    

Ouch. What's thee prognosis?

I don't know, I have deodorant now. Also I have no further reason to leave my house today as far as I am aware.
As for the knee, well, I have an appointment to get the dressing changed again tomorrow regardless. Surely by now it should be pretty much healed anyway. Otherwise, I'll be mad.

Sick with another cold, which isn't a big deal in of itself, but since I have asthma, my  olds aremmagnified by a lot, so I have a terribly sore throat, and an infinitely blocked nose. But the main thing is that, twice now (I don't get sick often, but i get really sick when i do), asthma colds have nearly led me to death by fluid in my lung. It's weird to be genuinely afraid for my life o_O

That's what I tell myself.  Doesn't stop the eyeroll when I hear her scream in another room, and know that I have to immediately stop whatever I'm doing to go murder some poor spider.

Hey please don't eyeroll at phobias

I have a phobia of some certain types of dogs due to one dog-related incident in my childhood that happened too early for me to remember it but which my parents told me about, and let me tell you, even if you know it's nothing dangerous, you can't help but feel horrified

it's literally a "fight or flight" reaction

I think my brain is wired wrong for phobias, like how after I nearly drowned I grew to love large expanses of water, swimming, sailing and diving, or how I find clowns funny, spiders endearing and such

No amount of understanding can prevent the eyeroll, when that irrational thing becomes a near-daily interruption to your life.

i have come into face-to-face contact with the demons of the past and they overpower me
