If it makes you feel any better, I've heard of plenty of people on the forums getting warned for different things. The only reason I haven't is because I repress half the things I think about posting anyway. People make mistake, shit happens, et cetera. Still, if there's anything I can do, don't hesitate to ask.

I was kneeling for a few minutes today.

Now, before this I've had moments where I was relaxing and I got up and I felt a little woozy, but got over it quickly.

I finished what I was doing and stood up. I tried to move but my legs felt too heavy, then I felt extremely dizzy and I put my hand on the wall and slowly laid down on the floor because if I didn't I would fall. I couldn't really see anything, it was just snapshots. My vision returned to normal and I realized I hadn't been able to hear anything either, and the background noise was slowly coming back in. I got up and I was breathing really hard and it took me a bit to recover enough to tell myself: "I just fainted".

Welcome to hypotension, make sure you're getting enough exercise, iron and assorted minerals. And by exercise, I mean throughout the day.

Also, until it clears up be careful in warm environments. They exacerbate the condition, in general.

Like I said, throughout the day. I used to run cross-country and still get hypotension shenanigans because I would potato out the rest of the time.

Thankfully I mostly grew out of it, but as a teenager I had a fun time with getting smacked down by neurocardio syncope. In short, there's a nerve in your neck, the vasovagal nerve, that helps regulate blood flow to the brain. Sometimes, this nerve will flicker off like a bad lightbulb. Brain suddenly loses oxygen, unconsciousness, nerve reactivates (thankfully there appears to be no danger of that not happening).

I've "woken up" to a painful faceplant more than once. The really weird one was when I hit a lightswitch on the way down, so I woke up in darkness. I would have just assumed I'd fallen asleep if not for being on the floor.

So, ahh, ummm, I've just been told by my mother that my brother's girlfriend* is likely going to give birth tomorrow.
Whoo boy, this is interesting, I don't really know how to act here, my mother certainly doesn't, she's panicking, and my cynical outlook isn't improving my worry.
Deary me.

Yeah, stay hydrated, get all the ions and whatnot, and try to stay cool (8)?). Blood vessel dilation can mess you up.

My computer failed to start up properly and I had to run Start-up Repair to get it to work. This was not how I wanted to start my day at all. At least it IS working, but still. I do not want my sweet precious potato to die an ignoble death.
