Good grief, i think i just heard a lightning strike within a few hundred meters and it startled the shit out of me. I'm normally not too concerned with thunder when i'm inside (after all, we have a tall building nearby with a lightning rod), but this one was LOUD. You know that classic "KRAKRABOOOOOOOOM" onomatopoeia that's usually associated with lightning? Well, that's pretty much what it sounded like, except with max size font and 80 M's instead of one. I'm glad i didn't go to bed yet, that would've been a nasty shock. :v

... maybe i should stop being on electronic things when there's that much electricity hovering around above me

not that it matters for disconnected laptops

OKAY, storm has passed and it is now happy happy sunshine outside, and i managed to avoid a gruesome death by lightning bolt. All is well, besides the fact that we got 25.8 mm of rain within one hour, so everything is soggy now. Thanks for the safe-wishings! :v
