Every time I finally drift off to sleep, Sleep paralysis strikes and I'm stuck gazing around the room seeing what gellar field failure is going to occur next. I had to force myself up seven times today because I couldn't sleep LAST night due to insomnia. I just want to get away from it all and sleep in the safety of my room but fate decides "fuck you in particular" so I can't have that either. So I have the choice between willing through restless sleep until I eventually just can't force myself to walk, or starting to gorge myself on enough caffeine to literally fill my stomach to "eat anything and the lining tears" capacity and see what happens there. The stuff I see when I lock up isn't exactly happy either.

Bloody hell... Isn't there medication for this? "Literally cannot sleep due to sleep paralysis" seems like an appropriate reason to get pills.
