Every pet in our house has fleas. I have argued it to hell an back, but we still go at them one fuzzbutt at a time, with a little topical flea poison, and then it wears off in a week and they're scratching themselves bloody again.

I have fleas. Not on me, but in my sheets, mattress, my dog. What we need to do is bomb the house and wash all of the laundry, bathe the pets, spray pesticides everywhere the dogs like to roll outdoors, get the horses and the horse tack, and repeat that every day for at least four-six days, so every single one of the fuckers and their offspring dies horribly, such that they don't have the chance to repopulate with a more resistant breed next week.

No, they're trying to murder the fleas, they're just doing it extremely inefficiently.

I mean you can't fucking ignore Fritzies' flea problem, she's allergic to them and will literally scratch herself until her back starts bleeding. She's gotten shaved now, more flea repellent (I dont even think its poison this time) and antibiotics on her back, and it helps for a couple days, but we aren't paying for the bombs and full-household cleansing that will actually solve the problem. I guess it's just a budget thing largely, but now I can start adding to it since I'm employed and they're driving me nuts as well.
