Am I the only person on Bay12 who hasn't tried to shove something up their nose that really shouldn't go there?

Nah, the trick is in cauterizing the bleeding capillaries. Sometimes even THAT fails, though. Or so I surmise from ORL consultations.

My nosebleeds aren't as bad as any of those. Basically from time to time (I blame the air heating) when I blow my nose my napkins end up looking like a war zone. It's seldom drippy, though, but it's showy. Once at the hospital the nurses mistook me for an inpatient with some terrible condition.

What sucks, for me at least, is that after years and years of constant nose bleeds you tend to get nonchalant about it, and you tend to work it into your life.  I pick out jackets and t-shirts based on how well they hide the color of blood, and my computer desk is probably a biohazard by this point.   And nothing sucks more in the morning then having the test of blood in your throat.

I have had my nose cauterized.  Twice.  Wasn't with fire though.  Was some kind of freezing or chemical based thing, I think.  Worked for a period of about three or four months, then got a lot worse.

Nah, the trick is in cauterizing the bleeding caterpillars.
How I read that.

Are your larvae leaking vital bodily fluids? Employ fire! Lots of fire!

I get bad nosebleeds around exam times. Must be stress.

I've been there. Having a massive bloody nose in social situations? Check. Filling a shower with blood? Check. Being forced to walk around for a few hours with bloodstains on my shirt? Check. Getting bloodstains all over someone else's bathroom? Check.
Have you ever had to get on a public bus with blood all over your hands and mouth? That was fun.
Giving a bus driver a handful of bloodstained coins as blood ran down my face was very memorable.

Afterwards I toured an art gallery, then I washed my hands and spent two hours drawing... I didn't notice how bad it was until I looked in the mirror at my house.
Medical check-up please ._.
Due to related and overlapping health conditions.

What, nosebleeds? I don't think you can take nosebleeds as the only sign of health issues. Mostly they just happen because of an irritated nose from a cold or allergies or something.
