Hey, Japa. Are you planning on staying in India? How are the education prospects there, I don't know if they have good public education or not.

I'm assuming you can still move back to... Germany, I think? Or is it just your family is in Germany?

I DON'T KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT YOU, JAPAS! D:

must... have... information...

I have German-American dual citizenship, so germany would be an option if I could learn the language.
Why do you have a German citizenship if you don't speak the language? O_o
My mom's german.
What area is she from?

Hamburg, I believe. Hasn't lived there since long before I was born, though.

Germany would be a tremendously good place to have a family. Their Quality of Life scores are off the charts, especially for medical care and work-life balance.

Oh man, what the hell is this even?

Also, do hamburgers come from hamburg? That would make a lot of sense.

Some (White Castle) say it was, but others say it was invented by a Danish diner owner in Connecticut. Other claims exist. It was probably invented a few years before the 1904 World's Fair in St. Louis where it was popularized nationwide, at which it was rather ambiguously referred to as "the innovation of a food vendor on the pike."

This just in; hamburgers conceptualized by man while smoking fish.

The name, at least, does: from 'hamburger steak', i.e. steak, done in the style of people in Hamburg, that being the good ol' slab of ground beef. Then the name got shortened for convenience.

From what I hear, they come from Khan-era Mongolia, where horsemen kept slabs of meat under their saddles until it was tender, but I'm pretty sure that story is a load of feces.

You might be thinking of steak tartare.

In my own terrifieds, an MP of the opposition party was kept out of the municipal offices of an area with serious sevice delivery issues. I should never have started following politics.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Anyway, I was riding on the bus this afternoon and the driver slid on some ice. It was a crowded bus, and I ended up standing near the back and holding onto the bar along the ceiling because there were no seats. He slid for a solid distance, cussing the whole way, then got control again and kept going like nothing had happened.

Also in bus related terrifieds, I was crossing the road on a pedestrian green, so all legitimate, when the bus I'm crossing in front of starts edging forward. I don't know what the driver was thinking.

There are much better times to do that than when a pedestrian is crossing just in front of them. I understand how he could have done it, I just don't know why he couldn't hang on for two seconds.

He probably had some fairly good reason from his perspective.
