I'm booking an appointment with my doctor to discuss various potential mental health issues. I find this particularly terrifying because one of said issues revolves around talking about things like that, particularly with people of authority. I never know what to say and constantly worry I'm giving incorrect information that will lead to incorrect conclusions, or that I will be misunderstood or judged.

I thought the stigma against mental illness was supposed to be a lot less in Canada than the US? Or have a better mental healthcare system anyway.

Oh no, it totally is, I just have this compulsive worry about being judged in general is all... it's why I drive worse when I'm driving with my mom/judgmental people for example.

Unlike in DF, genetic bottlenecks are a thing in real life.

Plus, it's entirely possible they could be for different cattle needs. Plowing cows versus milking cows versus beef cattle probably need different bulls as the father. :v

Or something. It's probably the whole "We don't want inbred moo-moos" though.

We just get a new bull in, though. Much easier to determine who fathered them, that way. And yea, if you have milk and beef cows, you'd need different bulls for that.
