Screw black Tea, it's way too bitter. I happily drink my tea with milk and stick a hearty middle finger up at those who say it's 'improper' and 'not the way a real man drinks tea'!

oh god no, lady grey is the best tea of all the teas.

Not like the mandarin orange tea either.

But like, when the tea tastes entirely like a fruit. Where the tea itself is overpowered.

I do love a cup of black tea. Earl Gray or English afternoon are my favorites, as strong as I can get them. A lot of people put cream or sugar in black teas 'round these parts, but I figure if they want to obliterate the taste of the tea, they should just start drinking a different kind.

I can't find it. I assume it would be pricey.

Never had mandarin orange.

I've never even tried cream and haaate putting sugar in tea. Just a dash of milk, to bring it from hair-curlingly bitter to just right.

Mmm... Early Gray's pretty nice, so is English Afternoon, but my favorite has gotta be Chai. The Earl Gray I've had before was just a little bit too weak and the Afternoon was only slightly different to basic tea.

white tea is made from the flowers, it used to be exclusively for the emperor.

I had something that was part white tea and it was very calming.

I see green and white tea sometimes, but never just white.

Also, I believe there's a delightful party in America that does nothing but serve tea.

I dont get why everybody loves Earl Grey. If I want essential oils, I'll just go eat a scented candle. Pure black tea FTW, maybe with lemon or a bit of sugar.

Don't try to eat ordinary candles btw. I did once, while drunk (obviously) - it was made of stearin and did not taste very nice. Beeswax candles would be tasty however, I think.

E: I think I meant paraffin.

I think people love Early Grey because it's the stereotypical blue blood stuff. I think it's pretty nice. Then again, I like all tea.

I only eat soy candles. Beeswax is most certainly not vegan.

Well, I was drunk, and remembered a comic from my childhood (Um-Pa-Pah I think it was called) where an Indian (the titular hero) comes into an English fort and instead of eating the stuff from the banquet just starts munching on the candles.* Cue drunk me thinking that would be a good thing to try... I think I at least ate the whole thing. No stopping after one bite, no sir; gotta man up and finish what you started.

*Thinking back, it used a whole lot of cliches and might be considered racist; then again the hero was an Indian warrior who had to save time and again an English upperclass twit who kept getting himself into trouble...
