You get used to it. Driving for the first time was nerve-racking for me too, but now I love driving. It can be quite relaxing some times. _{^{Especially if the radio is playing good music. And traffic isn't awful or the road is not a mess.}}

I was terrified of oncoming traffic the first few times I drove on a road. I find once you figure out the spacing issues of where your car is, it becomes a lot easier.
