After discovering that some of the fireworks we had (a half-dozen Roman candles and a couple of actual rockets) were missing stands and would fall over, someone had the fantastic idea of holding them. This worked fine for the candles, seeing as they're kinda wussy, but the rockets? Not so much...

Friend 1, lighting what he thought was a Roman candle: "So, you light it and point it out like that?"
Friend 2: "You really don't want to hold those ones."
Friend 1: "Wha?"
Rocket: "PCHOOO"
Friend 1: "OH SHIT"
Rocket: "PCHOOO PCHOOO MOTHERFUCKER"

It ended with everyone laughing profusely for about half a minute. No friends were harmed, though one of them may have needed to change his pants.
