Had a very close call with tearing my blood clot out. I forgot that sealed bottles also cause suction. I felt it move, even, but managed to abort. Guess I'm grateful for the stitching being solid.

Pulled tooth? Gross. I'm glad the clot stuck.
Wisdom tooth removal x3. Fortunately they were all unexposed or partially exposed, so the risk of dry sockets is inherently lower.

I actually kind of enjoyed the ordeal, whatever they used to put me under had a very nice pre- and post- effect. It helps that my surgeon appears very competent. I've got a small amount of pain in the actual wounds but am otherwise unbothered, and it's been about half a day.

Does Honduras exist in some sort of time vortex?

She may be from some alternate dystopian Honduras in a world where Gaben died trying to inhale a quadruple-stack bacon and buffalo burger in 2001, killing Steam in its infancy and setting gaming culture back decades.

It's one where Half-Life 3 was made on a reasonable schedule and the massive profits and such from that meant Gabe never really got around to making Steam.

Is everyone still on about HL3?
Is everyone sure that they would like a new Half life? What was about the other two that was so great? Not to devalue the appeal of them, I can see why people like it, but what about the games was so revolutionary?

The first one in particular was an entirely different sort of a game. The way they made it - by accident actually - was that after making a generic FPS #1672 and deciding it sucks, they tossed all the gimmicks from all the levels in a single level. And they gazed upon the creation and saw it was good.

So yeah, it was a different kind of experience in its time. Quite possibly the beginning of 'cinematic' FPSs.

Can't really tell about HL2, because I actually didn't ever play through the whole thing.

I'm not a hardcore Valve fan, but I get the feeling that nobody actually cares about HL3 and they just talk about it because, well, it's something to talk about.

It's the same logic as a bunch of people talking about Frozen.

3 syllable * 3 f's = 9
9 + 3 vowels = 12

L ish the 12th letter of the alphabet

H is in pufferfish at the 10th character

L at 12th character + h at 10th = H L

HL3 confirmed

I actually want to play HL3, because I really really want to know what's in the Borealis.
