This is one of the coldest, longest most brutal winters down here. It's probably been three weeks of rain already! And, like, temperatures around 14C!

...Are you serious? You're not serious, right?

Well, actually, the lows are around 14C. The highs are closer to 23C.

Did your ancestors make their home on the surface of the sun? It's -1c here and it's only cold when you're in a rain/wind blizzard... which unfortunately is most of the time now. >_> But it's not overly bad.

It's a full 7°C here, and that's really unseasonably hot. All the snow is starting to melt...
Normally it's around -30°C now, with a -40°C wind chill. I don't know what we did to be so hot. Maybe everyone sacrificed a dragon's heart?

Apparently this year has broken pretty much all the records for being unseasonably warm. Heck, last winter we didn't even get snow. In March we had summer temperatures up to like 20c. I got sunburnt. In MARCH. O_o

It was 50 degrees Fahrenheit here last night, I had to bundle up in two blankets. I have no idea what that is celsius.

So I guess it's unfair to complain that it is hot, but this cold snap will be gone and we'll be back to 80s, until summer when it gets into the 100s with heat index.

It's -2C here, might as well be tropical weather.
Reminds me of our family trips to florida in march. Some days would be like, overcast and 17c, and we'd be out lounging by the pool and we'd see people down on the beach in full jogging suit sets or whatever.

I like central america temperatures in winter... only when it was raining though. When the sun was out it was too hot for anything. If you go deep into the rainforest/mountains it becomes a lot nicer. I started to understand why everyone put 2 cups of ice for every beer they drank over there though. Here if you try to buy ice people would laugh at you.

Yeah, over there I didn't see anyone drink cerveza that wasn't lager. I think you could buy guinness in the supermarket but that was it.

Costa Rica. Pretty nice place if you can get around the jail-type bars on every building and the random bodies in the streets. O_o

Not sure. I ate mostly arroz con pollo.

Actually, I ate 'Gallo Pinto' (rice & beans) the most back there. It was quite good.

I don't know how they make it so well over there. Any attempts I tried back home were a poor imitation. Plus panacones. Those fried plantain chips are too addicting.
