Yep. The point between 'So realistic you can't discern it from reality' and 'just able to see it's fake'. Where it looks real enough, but something about it is unnatural.

E.g. most people with so much makeup on them that there's practically no actual skin to be seen on their face.

Last night, I actually lost sleep over Five Nights at Freddy's. There's this fish tank with a color-changing LED lamp in my living room, and the light shines down the hallway to my bedroom. The light fades completely off before changing to a new color, so there's a second of blackness where I have a mini-panic attack and expect to hear Freddy's jingle and see flickering, glowing eyes in my bedroom doorway. Same story when I just close the door.
