Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

Not really terrified at the moment, but a bit worried.

Apparently there's a doctor in NYC who might have Ebola. If he does then there's going to be either a) a real threat of Ebola, or b) mass hysteria that could lead to a real threat of Ebola. There's 20 different ways I could get fucked here.

Apparently he interacted with some people for a few days. While showing symptoms. Also, he tested positive. Can we panic yet? Everyone stay really calm and be glad that you don't live in New York.

Probably more like mass hysteria that could lead people to think there was a real threat of ebola.

"Interacting with people" doesn't sound serious enough for me to be worried.

I'm not concerned, and not just because I live in Ireland.
Unless they were making out, I doubt anyone's infected.
...
Unless the doctor infected was the suavest guy in New York, and thus makes out with everyone he meets. Then we're fucked.

Is there enough interaction in a taxi or bowling (which he apparently did while symptomatic)? There's probably a significant amount of sweat left that could infect other people.

He rode the subways, dude.
Just hope he didn't ride the 4 train. Because then there's a slight chance I'm screwed.

What neighborhood do you live in? (Assuming you live in Brooklyn/Queens)
