I twitch, shake and curl up into a ball just by reading about torture. The brazen bull? I burned my finger recently and it hurt like hell. What goes through their creators' heads? "Look, if you impale him with a blunt stake and crook it, he'll survive longer and be in much more pain!"

Still kind of terrifying to realize there's probably equal-or-more levels of slavery going on currently as was in the past. Even in 'Murica. Just really hidden now. And now more sexual slavery than chattel/work slavery.

We were talking about torture. Granted, slavery can probs be viewed as a form of torture. Especially the whole sexual bit.
