Is it addicting? I'm in a mood for a new pizza now.

Spicy foods are the best thing.
Any discomfort on expulsion cannot possibly counteract that.

Well, you can get addicted to anything, so...

They actually found that sugars, salt and fat can all make you addicted in much the same way as drugs. As in, your body starts thinking it NEEDS them to function and you start having (minor) withdrawal effects.

Most things, though, it's just a compulsion to eat/drink/listen to/talk to/whatever more and more beyond the point of it being useful and to the point of it being damaging.

It's psychological vs. physical addiction. You can get a psychological addiction to anything, at least anything that gives positive feedback. But even if you sit 25 hours a day on the Internet or, say, compulsively gamble, the difference is not being given those will not hurt you physically. Contrast with alcohol, which can have a lethal withdrawal sympoms.

Thai food tends to be too (not exactly sweet but I can't quite think of a word for it. Distinct from what I think of as savoury anyway) for my liking.

India has spicy food more or less mastered really. Try as you might there's not much better you can get.

I enjoy spicy foods of both the Mexican and Indian varieties... although whereas I usually go to a Mexican restaurant and just ask for the spicy option, I'd hardly dare doing that at an Indian place. :P I had, I'm pretty sure it was just a "medium" spicy dish at an Indian restaurant near my house, and it pretty much hit my spice-tolerance-theshold.
Maybe I've toughened up since then, who knows. It was damn tasty despite burning my mouth apart.

OH GODS NOOO X__X
I tried your food.
So hot.
I drank a liter of water just to finish a small bowl of darn rice. :I
Also I've got stories from my parents that all the food there is spicy. There's 'little spicy', 'spicy' and 'volcanic'. There is no such thing as no spicy. ._.
Worst part is, I'm unsure if they're joking!

I ate a pizza yesterday, with the hottest sauce they got. When I was eating it, I didn't really think it was that spicy.
But now I know why it's called hot. Way in was easy, but the way out was painful. IS painful.
Is this masochism to eat that fucking shit? I wouldn't force feed it to my worst enemy, that amount of burn in your I won't be able to sit on my ass for a week, at least.
To imagine that this could be used as a weapon... terrifies me.
It's a delicious poison, what more do you expect?
Well spicy =/= chili, is it? :3
Mwahaha~!
Acid, burn! D:

Knock Knock was enough horror for me this year, thanks.

Ice Pick Lodge is a great dev but fuck they are amazing at being scary. Why is a game where you just walk around a dark house turning on lights then occasionally go for walks in the forest so freaky?

Takes advantage of that slight fear you have that you'll walk into a dark room, reach for the light, and something will grab your hand.
And the worry of waking up in the middle of the night and wondering if you heard someone break in. Do you get up and check or stay in bed while someone walks around in your house?

As I recall, in Thai cooking there are five tastes: sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and hot. A good meal should incorporate elements of all five. Ergo, all good meals are hot, at least according to the metric. That's not to say they are, though.

Spicy food is the best. I really need to use that ghost chili cheese.

I got the chance to try some ghost pepper sauce at a Buffalo Wild Wings recently, but sadly, it does not hold up to the reputation it has in pepper form when rendered as a sauce. Still pretty hot though.

I've always been partial to the cajun style of spicy food myself.
