I swear I've seen a comic with that idea before, I just can't remember it.

But on the bright side, there are several cats here. That's several attempts at a ghost cat.

But I'm fairly certain that it's another regular mouse. I didn't see it, but I felt it climb a bit up my ankle before a cat started chasing it. Must have been almost a dozen dead in the past few weeks or so.

To further school starting again fears:
This year, my mom actually has a really high chance of becoming my teacher.

I am reasonably certain that is not allowed to happen.

Teacher's kid here.  It can happen.  Nearly happened to me, got out because I can't learn anything from her (not for her lack of trying but because our methods of learning are way different and makes us get into arguments).  Knew another teacher's kid who had her mom for physics.

Not sure about the Philippines, but it can definitely happen in America.

Europe, bits of Africa and India, bit of the ways into Russia.  Doesn't include everything, but I should be able to at least piece more crap together than I am.  Geography has just never really been a big deal down here in landlocked Texas, where nobody wants to leave for whatever reason. >_>

I almost died today, that was terrifying. I was in a serious car accident today, and luckily walked out of it with comparatively minor injuries. A woman ran through a stop sign and hit me in my passenger's side. We were both going about 80km/h, and both our cars were totaled. I spent most of the day in a hospital, it was quite possibly the scariest moment of my life. I'm still in a very large amount of pain, but nothing's broken and nothing's permanent, although I may walk with a limp for a few weeks.

Holy shit, man. Glad to hear you're (mostly) okay. Hopefully insurance covers everything, including your hospital visit. Make sure you take it easy for a while, man.
