First I kept hearing sourceless scratching sounds below my window in the dark. Now there's creaking from the thin sliver of space between my bed and the wall. Every time I think of an explanation for these sounds I'm proven wrong. My imagination is currently telling me a wide variety of scenarios in which I die grisly and helplessly.

Well, first off, register my cult. My dad's got an appointment in a couple hours to see the doctor about some pressure or headaches or other weirdness with his head. It'll probably come to nothing, but it's got all of us a little freaked.

(Update: we won't know what the problem is, if there even is one, until the doctor sees the brain scans, but my mother thinks there isn't much to worry about).
