Yeah, it would take a ridiculous acceleration to deorbit someone into the sun, but I'm fairly sure that Zero could do that if he used his falcon pawnch.

You mean Dorf Punch?

It has the same effect as a Falcon Pawnch, except for the following:
-Dorfs lumber around slowly; CF used to be the fastest guy in the game
-Dorf punches don't generate fire
-Captain Falcon is cleanshaven

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

Wouldn't you just be able to deploy a parachute, and let the drag slow you down, then just drop into the sun?

Deorbit? No, just thrust in a straight line. Boom, into the sun.

Still not as painful as when people say space travel is worthless.
Which in turn is less painful than what I felt when I read that your mother said that the weapons were useless.
Everyone needs an axe.
Everyone.

You know what an axe can do?
Things. Lots of 'em.

What is the point of Nasa when space is just a vacuum
We don't need to spend billions of dollars we could be spending on healthcare and education and shit when Dyson already makes vacuums on earth
VACUUMS ARE NOT IN SHORT SUPPLY

I think that RinkWorks' Book-A-Minute review of Twilight is all I ever need of it.

I read (past tense) the Harry Potter books, but in hindsight the books weren't as awesome as I'd the first time. Series was overrated, definitely.

Personally, I think the second one was the best, but that's just me. The cheap-ass ending where

was probably the worst part of the series.

In my humble opinion, J. K. Rowling got better at writing. I wasn't as fond of the first three books as I was of the rest of the series. Although I will admit the series is sort of overrated.

Now I'm tempted to make a sigtext thingy just to sig that... Best acronym ever[Well, top 10].

Go ahead.

Responding to a two-day post to say that

Yeah but Dyson needs to go into space to make a sphere.

Apparently there was a problem between my 12-year-old sister and my 7-year-old sister, involving chocolate milk. My little sister went to complain to my mom. Mom enters the room with a look of rage in her eyes. She grabs my older sister by the sides and starts digging her nails into her stomach.
My younger sister immediately regrets it and starts telling my mom, "nonono please no mom, it's not her fault!" Luckily mom stops, but keeps on ranting at my sister, and calls her into her room in private.
Sister returns crying.
Now both of my sisters are sad.
Now I'm sad.

She grabs my older sister by the sides and starts digging her nails into her stomach.

Neither do I, as it happens. I have no idea why I posted it here.

Probably the wrong thread, but I don't recall posting anything along those lines on any thread.

Bro.
Quote
NASA's FY 2011 budget of $18.4 billion represented about 0.5% of the $3.4 trillion United States federal budget during that year, or about 35% of total spending on academic scientific research in the United States.
Less than 1 percent of the entire US federal budget in 2011. And it's probably even lower now. That's not much of a difference to the rest of the spending.
