I'm confused. Wikipedia tells me it's a phobia of surfaces/textures with holes in them, yet Google's images show a lot of pictures of a fairly specific-looking condition. Is there a name for whatever disease gives those people the freaky holes in their skin?

Well. The human bot fly gets pretty close.

I don't mean Trypophobia itself. Just the pictures of people that you get when you google it.

I always thought it was kind of cool looking. Gives me tingles, not-bad tingles.

Photoshop.

Not all of them, of course, but many (probably most on GIS) are just photoshops designed specifically to freak people out.

Google "lotus pod" for example. Look familiar? It's one of the more common things used to create the fake images.

People have been getting thrills from primal fears since the dawn of horror films. Stuff like skiing, bungee jumping, cutting yourself, drinking and such are fun because your body doesn't like it.

EDIT: I read that as "lotus god" first and got confused when I get images of Vishnu.

Ah, okay. That makes sense.
I actually thought some of them might have been shopped, since they looked so unrealistic... but that image search was pretty consistent.

Thanks a lot guys, now I'm freaked the hell out after looking that up.

To add insult to injury, the Wikipedia page won't load, so now I'm stuck with those freaky pictures, probably intended to freak out people like me with that trypophobia. As it would turn out, my fear of porous things was not unfounded or unnamed.

EDIT: Ok, the Wikipedia page loaded and I feel better.

Seriously though, every person who has ever done one of those pictures with their hands or something is a person I want to hire Chuck Norris to kick in the privates.

Can somebody please tell me what's going on here?
Well there's a text file that's sentient when in a computer and a reanimated cat that's sentient and the cat is actually a dead guy and the computer pretended to be a dead person but really is its own thing and then they both got captured after the text file tried to take over a facility.
