Your pretty video of electrofury reminded me it's been a darn long time since I've been in a proper thunderstorm... kinda' miss it, now that I notice the lack.

Okay I'm jealous because lightning is so cool and that's all cloud lightning. Bolt/ground lightning is terrifying as shit.

Ground lightning is also awesome and wonderful, so long as it's not hitting anything important or particularly flammable. The thought of (near) instant electric death is somewhat troublesome, but A) Awesome way to go, and B) It's still incredibly beautiful. After the first one hits and the sound of a strike stops startling you, it's even a really neat noise ♫

The video is disorienting because it's constantly weaving around and there's no light or anything at the bottom to hang onto. Some houses come into frame at one point but then swim away~~

I would really prefer getting stabbed to getting a case of necrosis. Necrosis is some nasty shit, and while it would suck to be stabbed, it would still be much better (assuming that I manage to survive the stabbing).

On the scale of Ways to be Injured, puncture wounds are like, somewhere in the middle in terms of badness. Proper treatment means you'll survive unless you got stabbed in a really bad spot. Moderate treatment means your worst worry is infection, not the stab wound itself.

Technically they're stabbing themselves with needles, so krokodil really is the best of both worlds.
