Of course, if science can nail down true human parthenogenesis, then it becomes even more possible.

Second earthquake in three months. Like, five minutes ago.

The nearest fault line is a thousand kilometers away.

I'm scared.

(Granted it's like magnitude 4 or something, it's petty, but when you NEVER experienced any before, it's quite frightening. I mean, we all felt the first one happening back in october or something, and NOBODY in the room even remotely considered the earthquake hypothesis.)

They could just be the same earthquake. After shocks and all that. >_>

I've been through a couple earthquakes, yeah they are pretty frightening.  One big one happened when I was in junior high, everyone pretty much ducked under their desks and held on for dear life.  You'll be ok.

gaze unto this maw and despair

hail shook

That reminds me incredibly of the Thing. (The film).

---

So Euld, how do you actually respond when he mock-proposes? Do you just laugh it off?
I laughed off this occasion because he didn't do the whole 'kneel down and present a ring box' but it definitely got me thinking.  I just don't... feel ready yet :C  I love my boyfriend, but we haven't dated for a whole year yet.  And right now we both have crappy jobs, tons of student loans to pay off, and pretty much nothing much to offer each other aside from ourselves and the hope things will get better.  Then again, maybe we'll be alright after all o_O

This is literally all that every married couple throughout all of human history has every had to offer one another, you know.

The only thing more than that I can offer Jon is to get him residency in this country.

WOOOOO.

even that feels cheap so be thankful you don't have anything more to "offer".

Unless they also could offer loads of money. Or land. Or nobility. So that really isn't quite true... though it's true that all that isn't necessary.

Though if you don't feel ready, you don't feel ready; these things shouldn't be rushed, in my opinion.

I have entered the 21st century today, by receiving my first ever smartphone (a Motorola Moto X).

It's terrifying.
There are no buttons, and there are millions of (virtual) buttons.
The thing can do shit Captain Kirk would have been jealous of, but it took me five minutes to figure out how to make a phone call.
I idly said "I need to find a GPS app", and the phone found one (several, actually).
It has a camera twice as powerful as any actual dedicated digital camera I've ever owned.
There are so many bells and whistles (literally, in some cases) that I'm almost afraid to do anything with it.

I've become that old guy who doesn't know how to set the time on his VCR.

Do you have a lighter app yet? You definitely need a lighter app.

I do now. Or rather did, for about 90 seconds. That's 90 seconds of my life I'll never have back.
