It could be, but that would imply that I wouldn't obliterate the protagonist on sight and sing to their corpse.

After the recent popularity of Geico's "Hump Day" commercial, I realized that viral marketing was doing everything it could to turn people into machines which further propagated the advertisement. But that's not the scary part. The scary part is, it's working.

It would be just plain sad if it didn't, considering how much psychological research over the last few decades has been conducted for the sole purpose of making advertising more effective.
